Rock in Rio 2024 – GLORIA GAYNOR


A global music legend, Gloria Gaynor has won two Grammy Awards, including Best Disco Recording for the anthem “I Will Survive” in 1979. Over her five-decade career, she has topped charts worldwide. Recently, her story was featured in a documentary titled “GLORIA GAYNOR: I WILL SURVIVE.”

Currently, Gloria is co-writing new songs with award-winning composers who have written for Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Meghan Trainor, Dolly Parton, Maroon 5, and many more.



At 80 years old, Gloria Gaynor will be performing for the first time at the Cidade do Rock.


Between 1973 and 1981, she released an album every year, all of which achieved notable chart positions.


She is the creator of unforgettable hits like “I Will Survive,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” and “Never Can Say Goodbye.”
