Who is NMIXX?
NMIXX is a six-member South Korean girl group under JYP Entertainment. The members of NMIXX are: Kyujin, Sullyoon, Jiwoo, Bae, Haewon, and Lily. They debuted on February 22, 2022 with the single Ad Mare. On Dec 8, 2022 it was announced that Jinni had left NMIXX due to personal reasons.
History
On July 8, 2021 a teaser was released titled Blind Package. The following day, a poster was shared on their Twitter account with the title “Your Favourite Girl Group”. The pre-sale for the limited-edition Blind Package reached over 60,000 copies during the 10 days it was sold for (Jul 16 through Jul 25).
From August through November 2021, each of the members was revealed to the public through the different social media accounts.
The name NMIXX is a combination of the letter ‘N’ which represents now, new, and next, as well as the word ‘MIX’ which symbolizes diversity and combination. NMIXX means a ‘new combination’.

NMIXX is composed of six members born between 2002 and 2006. Their names are: Kyujin, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, Lily, and Haewon. Their ages ranged from 15 to 19 years old at the time of the group’s debut in 2022.

- It was rumored that Yuna, from ITZY, was once planned to debut as a member of NMIXX; however, she was moved to debut with ITZY after Somi (who was meant to be part of ITZY) left JYP Entertainment.
- It is speculated that the name NMIXX is a pivot from JYP’s prior pre-debut group 6MIX. 6MIX was planned to debut around 2014 with several of TWICE’s members: Nayeon, Sana, Jeongyeon, and Jihyo.

Lily Morrow (릴리 머로우; born Oct 17, 2002), better known as Lily, is a Korean-Australian actress, singer, and trainee under JYP Entertainment. Lily M is half Australian (father) and half Korean (mother). She was a contestant in the reality show Kpop Star 4 when she was 12. She lived and studied in Korea for a couple of years after her family moved to Korea due to the Black Saturday bushfires that took place in Australia. Lily was 19 years old when she made her debut with NMIXX. She stands at a height of 165 cm (5’5”).

Haewon
Oh Haewon was the 6th member to be introduced to the public. She is the leader of NMIXX. She was 18 years old when she debuted with the group in 2022. Haewon joined JYP Entertainment in 2017 when she was attending Asia Practical Music Academy. She first appeared in a JYP trainee showcase in 2018 and has been a trainee for at least 4-5 years. She is known for her strong vocals, which will add more vocal power to a very strong lineup!

Sullyoon
Seol Yoo Na, better known as Sullyoon, is an ’04 liner. She passed auditions with multiple different agencies including: YG Entertainment, SM Entertainment, TS Entertainment, Fantagio, and Woollim Entertainment. Prior to joining JYP, she was a Woollim Entertainment trainee. She was also the class president in her elementary school. Sullyoon stands at a height of 168 cm (5’6”). She was 18 years old when she debuted with NMIXX in 2022.

Bae
Bae Jinsol, simply known as Bae, is one of the several ’04 liners in the group. She joined JYP Entertainment in 2017 and has been training together with the other members for about 4 years. Similar to the other members, she is known for her strong vocals as well. She was street casted by a JYP staff while she was in 8th grade walking to school. She stands at a height of 170cm (5’7”). Jiwoo

Kyujin
Kyujin is the youngest member of the group (maknae). Born on May 26, 2006, she was 15 years old by the time she debuted with NMIXX in 2022. Similar to Jiwoo, she also became a trainee in 2017. Jinni (Former)
Choi Yun Jin, better known as Jinni, was the first member of NMIXX to be revealed to the public. She was 17 years old when she debuted with NMIXX in 2022. She became a trainee in 2016 at the age of 12 and was part of JYP’s Trainee Showcase. She trained for 5 years. She made an appearance in 2PM Nichkhun’s MV for Lucky Charm in 2019.
