Singer IZA took to Instagram to share with her followers that she has ended her relationship with football player Yuri Lima, with whom she is expecting her first child.
In the video, she talks about the end of the relationship and expresses her disappointment.
“I am the type of person who cannot tolerate this kind of thing. I try to live my life to the fullest, in a restricted way, in a way that protects me,” the singer began her heartfelt message.
She further explained that she decided to be open with her followers because she saw no other solution. “I think, honestly, the situation has already escalated. I decided to speak to you directly so you could hear it from me that Yuri Lima, the player, and I are no longer a couple,” the artist stated.
In her statement, IZA mentioned that she would prefer not to talk about it anymore but felt it was necessary. “What will happen from now on is going to be a horror show, a circus really, with people seeking fame, lies being exposed, disappointment, filth… That’s going to happen. It’s inevitable,” she assured.
The artist noted that she is okay but also very disappointed and revealed Yuri Lima’s infidelity. “He cheated on me. I can’t believe I’m saying this.”
How the Infidelity Happened
IZA detailed that her now ex-partner was maintaining conversations with someone he had been involved with before their relationship. She added that the woman “really wants to be known” and that soon everyone would know who she is.
She also mentioned that Yuri and the woman he cheated with tried to sell screenshots of their conversations to some media outlets for R$ 30,000. However, the screenshots were sent to the singer, “thanks to a good relationship” with these media.
“I wanted you to know that I found out before all of this reached you. I’m sharing this news not only for Yuri but, unfortunately, for his family as well. (…) At this moment, I felt I should get ahead of it,” she said.
