“Desperate Lies (Pedaço de Mim)” has reached the top spot in Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Paraguay.
It’s a win for Brazil! The Brazilian melodrama “Desperate Lies,” a Netflix original series, has climbed to the number one position on the streaming platform’s global Top 10 list for non-English language series.
According to Netflix, the series has claimed the top spot in Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Paraguay. It also secured the second spot in Italy and Portugal and the third in France.
The plot follows Liana, who becomes pregnant by two different men at the same time and must make decisions that could haunt her for the rest of her life while keeping some secrets to move forward.
The series stars Juliana Paes, Vladimir Brichta, and Felipe Abib.
