Ingrid Santa Rita from “Love Is Blind Brazil” Season 4 accuses Leandro Marçal of rape after the show’s conclusion. The case is ongoing in court.
The São Paulo Justice Department has granted Ingrid Santa Rita, a participant in the latest season of “Love Is Blind” Season 4, a protective order against Leandro Marçal. The couple married on the Netflix reality show, and Ingrid has accused her now-ex-husband of rape.
In a statement to UOL, the Public Security Secretariat said, “The investigation continues through a police inquiry initiated at the Women’s Defense Police Station (DDM) in Osasco. The authority has heard the victim and requested a protective measure, which was granted by the Justice Department.”
In a video posted on her Instagram, the architect stated that “rape is the word” to describe what she experienced with Leandro after the show ended.
“Leandro would wait for me to fall asleep to… try to solve the problem. In his mind, if he managed to have sex with me, we wouldn’t have any more problems. But he forgot that he needed to inform me. It needed to be consensual, as it had been until then,” Ingrid said.
The architect claimed that her ex-partner attempted to penetrate her while she was sleeping. “Without an erection, limp. I would wake up and ask him to stop. I’d go back to sleep, and he would continue by inserting a finger into my anus and vagina. I woke up to him performing oral sex on me,” Ingrid recounted, visibly shaken.
What does Netflix say?
In a statement, Netflix said, “The allegations are being investigated by the competent authorities.” The statement reads:
“Netflix, Endemol Shine Brasil, and the ‘Love Is Blind Brazil’ team strongly condemn any form of violence. The production, in all its stages, is conducted with constant professional support for the participants, and the allegations are being investigated by the competent authorities.”
